About Us
North Branch Winery is owned and operated by us, Tom and Toni, a husband and wife team. Tom is a U.S. Army veteran, a former firefighter/paramedic, and reserve law enforcement officer. Toni is a registered nurse with a master's degree in business management.
In 2017, we decided to give up our fast-paced lifestyles in Indiana to move here to enjoy everything that Michigan has to offer. It didn't take us long to discover the beauty of Michigan, and its abundance of fresh produce. We began producing wine using local produce, and shared it with friends and family. Our wines became a hit with those that tried it, and we were getting requests for more and more. This is when we decided that we had a talent for wine making, and wanted to share our wine with others--which has led us to where we are today.
Thank you for your interest in North Branch Winery. We look forward to your visit.

About North Branch Winery
North Branch Winery is a boutique winery located in Scottville, MI that offers hand-crafted wines. All of our wines are fermented and bottled on site by us in small batches. We offer a variety of country (fruit) and vinifera (grape) wines in various sweetness levels to ensure that there is something for everyone. We like to be transparent about what is in our wine. We use potassium sorbate in some of our wines, as well as chitosan and kieselsol to assist with clarity, and sulfites. We filter all of our wines just prior to bottling.
We strive to use as much locally grown produce as possible. However, we import products from other regions as well. We feel that this is important as it provides our guests with unique options, and an overall more diverse wine tasting experience.
Our tasting room is located at the winery. The atmosphere is very quaint, yet comfortable with a warm and inviting feel. Our goal is to make our guests feel welcome, and to give them a great tasting experience. We take a laid-back approach to our tastings so that our guests can relax and enjoy our wines.
If you prefer a glass of wine while enjoying the weather, we have an outdoor seating area as well.
